Generally speaking, more than 75% of the EU’s greenhouse gas emissions result from energy consumption.
Therefore, the European Commission has started a series of initiatives, such as REPowerEU to contribute to generate affordable and sustainable energy for the Union and its people. At the same time, as testified by those taking part in the “People Saving Energy” series, small changes can be already done at local level, including each of houses: from changing the light bulbs to isolating rooms and living spaces.
