What a rich and insightful week! As part of the last phase of the project, the FORGING Team recently attended the Futures 2025 – Mutual Shaping of Socio-Technical Transformations Conference that took place from 9 to 12 June 2025, in Turku (Finland).

During the conference, FORGING Partners took part in 3 workshops:

  • Marta Martorell (i2CAT) gave an overview of “The Role of Key Value Indicators for Sustainable and Ethical Technological Innovation in Industry 5.0”
  • VTT Team moderated the workshop on “Collaborative envisioning of immersive environments for anticipatory technology assessment”
  • A round table on “Emerging enabling technologies in support to the digital and green transitions through value sensitive innovations” was organised with the overall consortium to present the project results and achievements

In addition, the team had a booth where they connected with several participants, presenting the project and exchanging with them on the outputs achieved (the toolbox, the KVIs, the co-creation approach, policy recommendations, etc.)
