Throughout its duration, FORGING has pursued a multi-stakeholder approach to explore pathways for value-sensitive—i.e., responsible—technology-driven Research & Innovation, fully aligned with the principles of Industry 5.0.

As part of this effort, the project team developed a White Paper with recommendations for both policy actions and the advancement of responsible R&I. The document was released in early September 2025.

These recommendations were shared with an engaged audience of more than 35 participants during a “Knowledge Sharing Online Event” held on September 26th, 2025. For each recommendation, the rationale and concrete suggestions for implementation were presented.

The event also featured two EU experts who shared regional good practices:

  • Erika Augustinsson, Innovation Strategist at Region Blekinge (Sweden), provided insights into the region’s S3 strategy and its mission-oriented approach.
  • Balázs Barta, Managing Director at PBN (Hungary), showcased best practices from technology-driven R&I projects involving multi-stakeholder engagement.

Participants also had the opportunity to learn how to stay actively engaged with other experts through the FORGING community, which will continue via its Ambassador Programme. In addition, the FORGING Toolbox was presented, offering practical resources such as good practice examples, co-creation methodologies, and ready-to-use templates for multi-stakeholder collaboration.
